Home of the University of Connecticut, Storrs is a village and section of Mansfield. Storrs hosts a number of museums like the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History and the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry plus theaters such as the Connecticut Repertory Theatre. The Mansfield State Park offers outdoor recreation for summer like boating and hiking and winter activities such as snowboarding. Visitors may take something home with them from the East Brook Mall, or shop for a picnic lunch at the Saturday Farmers' Market from May to November.
