Visiting Connecticut

Across Connecticut in late 2016 you’ll discover an impressive calendar of festivals, concerts, events, and more. Plan your next excursion through the Constitution State for the fall and experience all you can. From Bethel out to North Haven, and even Mansfield Center, Connecticut will yield an unforgettable travel experience.

Make sure you visit Groton during your stay in Connecticut. It’s home to the Bluff Point State Park which will offer up some of the most exceptional fall foliage tours in the state. Many of New England’s state’s can yield sterling views of the autumn hues, but few can do it like Connecticut.

Through late November, the SHU Pioneers will play out their 2016 schedule, with a number of premier home games. Visit Campus Field, the home of Pioneers football, on October 22nd to see them take on Robert Morris University. They’ll finish up their 2016 schedule at home against the Bryant University Bulldogs on November 19th.

Fairfield will also be hosting one of the premier classic rock shows this winter. See the Marshall Tucker Band live on stage on December 15th. This legendary rock band will take grace the stage at The Warehouse at Fairfield Theatre Company beginning at 7 p.m.

Make the most of your stay in West Haven with some excellent live music. Check out the event Connecticut Got Saxophones – The Best of David Sanborn on December 3rd. Visit the RVP Studios near downtown West Haven starting at 7 p.m. for an evening of exceptional sax jams.

The town of Wallingford will be the place to visit on November 5th. Check out the Oakdale Theatre starting at 8 p.m. for an evening of classic hits from the iconic Elvis Costello & The Imposters. Wallingford and its Oakdale Theatre can be found just to the north of North Haven.
