Connecticut Hotel Reservations
Make the most of your next visit to Connecticut. During the winter and into spring, Connecticut will yield premier experiences you won’t soon forget. Charming towns and cities, welcoming locals, impressive attractions, and a must-see list of events, festivals and concerts – Connecticut is the place to be in late 2016 and early 2017.
Coastal destinations like Fairfield, West Haven, and Groton yield their own unique brand of fun, and as you move inland you’ll find top destinations like Hartford and Berlin. Groton is home to Bluff Point State Park where you can enjoy an invigorating winter hike.
Any visit to Connecticut during the winter should certainly include some time on the slopes. The Constitution State is home to one of the eastern seaboard’s premier and most exceptional winter skiing destinations – Mount Southington Ski Area. Found in Plantsville, just west of Berlin and not far from North Haven, Mount Southington Ski Area features 51 picturesque, skiable acres, and 14 runs.
Plan on being a part of the concert event of early 2017. In Wallingford, just outside of North Haven, visit the Oakdale Theatre on February 1st for your chance to see Lukas Graham and his band live on stage. The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are available now for as low as $25.
In Hartford you’ll find plenty to see and do – and this winter, it’s as lively as ever. The XL Center should be your main destinations on February 11th, as you’ll have a chance to experience all the raw horsepower and excitement of Monster Jam. See all your favorite mega-trucks do what they do best.
The XL Center will be hosting one of the most inventive and unique live productions coming to 2017. Toruk: The First Flight is a live experience you will have to see to believe – it follows and expands upon the story from Avatar, the popular 1999 movie, and is performed expertly by Cirque Du Soleil. The show goes from March 17th to 19th.
