Old State House
Check Out the Old State House in Hartford
Finished in 1796, the Old State House is set in central Connecticut – and located in the capital city of Hartford.
Consisting of Federal style, Victorian, and Colonial Revival architecture, the Old State House is a three-story, National Historic Landmark found on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Old State House is also home to the Joseph Steward Museum of Curiosities – showcasing Connecticut specific exhibits, and offering tours of the original legislative rooms.
The Old State House is also the site of the Old State House Farmers’ Market.
